Fall Youth & Adult Classes

Our dance community at ADF’s Samuel H. Scripps Studios welcomes movers of all levels and abilities.
We are a non-recital school that offers a nurturing space for dancers of all ages with classes taught by experienced teachers, renowned faculty, and notable dance artists.

Battleground by Black Label Movement

During the 60-minute performance, the performers of Black Label Movement plow through 10 inches of tilled soil to examine the concept, energies, and consequences of the incessant armed conflicts that the U.S. has fought since World War II.

Since 1934, the American Dance Festival has been a recognized leader in modern dance presenting dance performances, and offering educational opportunities and community programs, while maintaining an international reach.

2023 Annual Report

In celebration of ADF’s 90th Anniversary, we danced through a festive season with the incredible support of our board of directors and donors and the dedication of our extraordinary staff, faculty, and artists.
